Hi,
Just looking for some advice. I had my ultrasound to diagnose whether I had PCOS, 2 days ago, and was informed by the sonographer that it would take 7-10 days to get my results, however I recieved a phone call today asking me to come in tomorrow morning to speak to them in person, in personal experience is this a good thing or not so good?
Thankyou
Charley💖
Both times I have had ultrasounds the report is sent to the doctors the next day basically, im in Aussie if that makes a difference though. Did the person taking the ultrasound make any comments or ask you anything? They usually tell you if they can see follicles etc.. you are lucky your doctors are so onto it and ask you to come in! I hope for your sake it's nothing to worry about
As a health care provider, I see a diagnosis of PCOS almost as a relief. If positive, it can explain so many things. And PCOS is nothing worrisome. It is very annoying but nothing dangerous

Have they suggested for you to start on oral contraceptives? Are they going to check your blood sugar and hormone levels?
Hi,
They've tested my testosterone levels, and they were ok, but apart from that they've told be to treat the things as they come, I've asked whether I can think about contaseptives as I already take a lot of medication because of my other conditions!
