Hi all, I was told 3 days ago I have genetial herpes after thinking I just had a bad yeast infection. It’s been the worse 3 days of my life but it just seems to be getting worse. I’ve missed work and now I am unable to pee or Poo because I am in so much pain. I don’t know what to do because I really don’t want to go to get a catheter. I’ve been avoiding drinking any fluid and it’s been about a day since I peed. I have been peeing in epsom salt baths but I don’t know if that’s good or bad. I haven’t pooped in 2 days but I also haven’t been eating much. I am finding that over the counter drugs don’t even touch my pain. I’ve been taking ib profin and aspirin religiously. I’m also taking all the vitamins, including lysine and vit c and echanesia. I bought teatree oil but I am uncertain if I should be applying now that the sores are leaking or what? I have been with my partner for 6 months and this is my first outbreak. He says he has never experienced and I’m trying not to blame him but it’s so frustrating. He’s being so sweet about everything. I think that if I can pee I can make it through this. Please help!
Hi Nicole! I literally felt your pain when I first had my first outbreak honestly I missed work , woke up crying i tried all the home remedies when I gave into the pain and went to the doctor they will diagnose you with a pill you take 3 times a day for 5 days and if it's that bad see if u can get lingnocaine gel to numb it! While the pills will be working but a she wee! Honestly the best thing I've bought, your weenwont touch your blisters and will help a lot! I hope this helps Hun stay strong and go to the doctors xx
Hi Anya, thanks so much for the reply. I was able to pee and Poo today and it was a miracle in itself. The doctors did give me valtrex 2 times daily for 10 days but I started taking it once I already had blisters so I’m hoping it’s not too late. I just want to feel normal again! I feel so stressed from all of this and I’m unable to work or walk or anything. How long did your first outbreak last from when you started to notice symptoms?
I noticed the symptoms 4 days after I had sex but I just though he had torn my skin from being big so I shrugged it off but it got worse I was in excruciating pain for a week until I went to the doctors and got my tablets, after you have had your first outbreak and you know how it feels you will know your body so much to know when you feel an outbreak coming on, NOT MATTER HOW LITTLE THE STING GO TO TJE DOCTORS FOR MORE TABLETS! Nip it in the bus before it can get worse, I promise once you have had your first out break it does get easier and you will feel back to normal but like I said for when you do have out breaks honestly get the pills and buy a she wee it's the best onbject I have ever bought and it's so easy to use x
