I am withdrawing from Citalopram for the second time, this time very gradually. I have always been susceptible to sweating and overheating, but while I was on Citalopram I was fine. Then I stopped them but found that when I was really stressed I would feel very hot, and the sweating returned. I went back on Citalopram in March and the overheating and sweating stopped after a few weeks. Now, I am withdrawing again and am feeling so hot and sweaty its unbearable. I feel I need to stop withdrawal and go back to my original dose of 10mg. Has anyone had the same experience? Shall I just accept that I have to take them indefinitely? I am taking 5-htp alongside withdrawal tapering but it doesn't seem to be helping.
