Last week, I had a hyperacidity episode. It was so bad that I had to get checked at by a doctor. The doctor gave me Omeprazole and Gaviscon Liquid. I take the Omeprazole in the morning; I take it 30 minutes before breakfast. I take Gaviscon 30 minutes after a main meal. It's a two-week treatment. I've been taking the above medications for a week now. I can say that my condition has improved. However, I have a bloated stomach. It's been like this since the hyperacidity episode last week. My tummy is big sometimes and it feels super uncomfortable. Can't exactly work properly and think properly. Anyway, all I want to happen is to shrink my bloated belly. Hope someone can help. Are you bloated or you are very constipated? my belly is bloated cuz I have stool stuck in it, very hard and dry stools
Now that you mention it, I don’t pass stool regularly. I have not engaged in a high fiber diet. I assumed that it was the medicine that was causing my bloated stomach.
yes some medications can cause constipation which will lead to your stomach being very bloated. i have had light constipation before but nothing this bad, it’s really weird. the stool just won’t move!!!
