Unexplained Nasuea

Hey guys, so I figured I would post my issue here to try to get some advice. For going on 3 weeks now I have been having horrible nausea every day. I can't tell what could be causing it and so far Drs have not been helpful. I haven't been vomiting which I find to be odd considering how strongly my nausea is each time I have it. I happens at random times though mostly in the morning or in the evening and lasts for hours. I have tried different otc medication as well as Zofran and non medications to try to at least take the edge off if anything and absolutely nothing helps. I've had ct scans and ultrasounds done as well as nurmours blood work and they can't figure out what the issue it. It interferes with everything from work (I'm a CNA so when it interferes with that I find it to be a big problem) and just daily activites and causing a lot of unrest for me. As of right now I am running out of ideas on how to get some type of relief.

Have you had your gallbladder checked with a HIDA scan? I didn’t have any pain but I did have a lot of nausea before I found out it wasn’t fully functioning. And what about your liver, stomach and colon? Some times CTs and ultrasounds don’t show everything. Maybe you should talk to your doctor about a upper GI scope. Also keep a food diary. It will help even if it turns out it’s not from food. You can have evidence and show your doctor.

I actually just had an upper gi scope done to checked on the progress of an ulcer I had. ItIts completely healed so that's not what's causing it. Colon was checked a few months ago as for my gallbladder I was told I'll get it checked with an ultrasound first to see if there's anything wrong with it. Figured since I was seeing my Dr for my procedure I would bring the issue up to him. I always thought when it came to the gallbladder I'd expect pain but seems not. Hopefully that can tell me something when i get it checked out.

Yeah I had an ultrasound of the gallbladder and my doctor told me it was fine. When i talked to a specialist, he said the HIDA scan is better for showing the actual function. Hope you feel better soon.
