First, 22 year old male.
So I recently changed my diet to a higher fiber intake while drinking plenty of water and avoided more fat and artificial sugar. My "exercise" it working, I work in a kitchen doing a variety of things, always standing and walking around. Heavy lifting and sorts.
I've lost seven pounds in the past ten days. (From 241 pounds down to 234, same scale and brand new). I also sweat a lot at work from all the burners and the steam of the dish-pit.
I recently had a bit of a scare where I I had very few tiny blood specks when wiping (Not in stool, less blood than a paper cut) back when I first changed my diet a month ago. I attributed it towards a fissures or very small exterior hemorrhoid. I also briefly spoke to the doctor about it and my change in bowel habits (Increase fiber intake does that) and he was not alarmed.
Recently I've noticed the same as before since my diet change and that is a noticeable amount of undigested food in my stool. The color varies depending what I eat and how frequently I go (I don't always get three meals a day). Though it is always within the "healthy" range of brown.
Back to the weight loss, would it be worth mentioning to my doctor? Or should I not worry too much about it? Should I push for tests? (I'd need to pay out of pocket for them).
My first thoughts have been about some sort of disorder and occasionally cancer (Love how our minds can jump to the worse).
