Unfusing

has anyone had any serious success with unfusing?   My clitoris is completely covered over and as such is not sensitive! Not good !  Please let me know if you have an answer ladies!

Yes, "we' have an answer.  I was totally fused up.  Not any more.  Go to the topic "An Experience with Borax" and read about all the people that have tried borax.

Borax and baking soda are my 'best friends'.  Baths and rinses.  Easy maintenance after all the fusing is gone.

Your success with borax is so reassuring Hanny. I am currently

using a dilator with some slow but obvious success.

However, it does not help to expose the clitoriss which is hooded.

I am fortunate that despite this I still have sensitivity with pressure.

I intend trying borax when I have finished with the dilator.

Wero, I still use a dilator as well.  That in combo with borax and baking soda.  It's a good combination.  The dilator gently stretches and keeps open and the borax and baking soda helping with unfusing.

It remains regular maintenance however, just to mention that you're never 'done'.  I'm now using the dilator less frequently - perhaps twice a week.  But it is still important to keep doing it or all will narrow again.

The clitoris area was the hardest and remains the hardest to keep from being covered over.  That's where I had to start using the borax more than the baking soda.  Baking soda is a bit gentler, therefore I keep switching from one to the other.  I still use coconut oil as well especially at the top part - clitoris area.

Hello Jackie, I am having very good results with releasing the fusion by following the Borax protocol. I have been using Borax approximately 7months now and my labia minor, which had completely fused is now returning. When I last visited my Gyno she was very pleased with my progress. The clitoris is also unfusing, although a bit more slowly. If you have not read "an experiment with Borax" on this site please do so. There is much good information, encouragement and testimonials there. I use a Sitz bath nightly with about one tablespoon of Borax in it and also apply the Saturated solution twice to three times daily.

There IS healing and remission possible. Good reading and God bless you

Where do I find the article on Borax and baking soda?

Click on "Discussion Forums" at the top of this screen.  Then you search for "LS".

Scroll down to see the various topics.  Click on "An Experiment with Borax"

Hope this helps.

Thank you Hanny, I realise you are correct when you say we are

never "done" I am probably being a bit naive in thinking I will just

unfuse and be back to normal.

I searched for Borax on line last night but I may have a bit

of trouble obtaining it here in the UK. Do you think I would

benefit from starting with just Sodium Bicarbonate?

From my experience - baking soda/sodium bicarbonate works as well, is gentler but it takes perhaps a bit longer to undo the fusing.

It was the top part that was stubborn and that's when I started to use borax. Perhaps by that time you can order the borax on line.

Is the 20 Mule Team Borax you purchase in the detergent aisle

the same as the Borox you mentioned? The ingredients listed on the box says Sodium tetraborate.

Yes it is .. that's what I use! Thought I would reply since I am on here..God bless

That's the one deborah.

Thank you Hanny.

Hi ladies,

I just want to say this conversation gives me such hope. I'm 40, premenopausal and diagnosed just over a year ago. The ls seems to be progressing despite the clob and recently I have tenderness at the top of clitoris.

So dermatologist said recently I have small bit of fusion.. Same spot. I've started back with the sitz baths, do ye think it will help stop it progressing? Derm just mentioned the fusing casually with no suggestions as how to treat. Thanks everyone.

Borax is banned here in the UK, you will have to get it on line from a site with many sellers. Do NOT buy Boric acid or Borax Substitute (which you can buy here in the UK). They are different chemicals altogether.

Good luck. I have had good results with it too.

Thank you for this information BoS. I do seem to have difficulty finding it. I have come accross the substitute but was unsure anyway. I intend starting with Bicarb so am in no hurry. So glad you have found the Borax beneficial. It gives such hope. Take care.

Hi Deb, it's not very helpful when the professionals fail to give support and advice so thank heavens for this forum. I too have fusing but was only told what it was when I totally broke down and told the Dermatology nurse that I was unable to have penetrative sex. She had already examined me but said nothing.

Anyway if you read the thread an experiment with Borax, its very encouraging. Although a novice in terms of available treatment, I know that my condition would not have reached such a severe stage if I had had earlier intervention. My advice would be act now. Read as much as you can and get on with it. The very best of luck.

Also, if only people would talk about it! I had years of being fobbed off by doctors as a hypochondriac until I moved house and my new doctor knew at once what it was. That was 7 years ago. It took me 5 years to be able to tell a friend about it, and I only told her because she came round when I was at a low point. When she started to itch she knew at once to go to the doctor, and her doc knew what it was too. Now I've told a few selected friends and told them to spread the word. Early intervention is so important. But I know it's difficult to talk about. Those of us with daughters need to make sure they know the signs too.

If you can't find it, I can send it to you.
