Hi Some people call me stupid and naive, i call it love, please do not judge i just ask for a opinion. My wife of 20 years is what i call a nympho, we got married young and she now is only 39. she has got a very high sex drive, did see a counsellor a few years back and joined some group to help her with her sex addiction , similar to aa. this did not work and i just went along with her needs.she works away allot and so i do not now much about her encounters, when she is home she normally has just sex with me, on a daily basis or more on some occasion. may problem is that i was drunk the other day and she talked me into a 3 some and i discovered she does not use a condom and never has and just douches after wards with some "wash" solution and that also heightens the sexual experience. she swears that that prevents any disease or pregnancy (she is on a pill as well but they could go wrong in my opinion) This has gone on most of our marriage,never caused a problem,but i now have got a nagging doubt about or health. are we just lucky or is it true what she claims? Thanks for any opinion.
douching is not good for vaginal health. it upsets the natural PH. she needs to use condoms to help prevent against stds. some stds dont always have symptoms.
The douche will only make a small difference for either pregnancy or STI protection. Provided she takes her pills reliably and regularly they should be reliable at preventing a pregnancy.
Some STIs show little or no symptoms but can do damage nonetheless. If you continue with an open marriage in this way, my recommendation would to both get screened for STIs regularly say every 3-4 months.
At least your wife enjoys regular and frequent sex with you. This is more than can be said for many longterm relationships, so take the positives.
