I had unprotected sex with a partner I've been on and off with twice in the last two weeks. He is a very clean person and i trusted that his recent STD test was negative.
On our second night, I had a couple drinks. Ended up falling asleep without peeing and woke up with a UTI. I get these fairly frequently so I had antibiotics at home. However, not a good amount of the same kind so I ended up taking 2 Kefflex, 1 Trimethoprin, and 1 Doxy bc it was what I had on hand. Fast forward... I end up getting a raging yeast infection, which i also get a couple times a year. The itching was unbearable and unfortunately I scratched hard and A LOT. I'm on day one of monistat and feeling better.. but i've got "sores" or "cuts" from what I believe is my scratching. But anxiety ridden me ended up on the forum and now I have it in my head that perhaps these cuts are an outbreak?? Can anyone give me insight?
is this just a healing cut?? or a blister??

yeah this looks like herpes. me and my partner were tested for a basic panel that didnt include herpes and he didnt know he had it. same thing i didnt pee cause i was drunk. thought i woke up with a UTI and it was terrible. few days later i woke up with ulcers and tested positive for hsv2
Hi all: just an update. This got really bad and I have painful blisters everywhere. Doc says it’s 100% herpes.
just remember that herpes doesn’t show up on a regular STD panel. you have to specifically request for a HSV one. So imagine how many asymptomatic people out there are spreading it thinking they’re clean x
