Unusual/Hard to Explain Breathing Patterns

Hello, for about a year now I’ve had some very unusual breathing dysfunction pattern going on. Its getting worse by the month now and my pulmonologist is sooo useless to me that it’s sickening. She diagnosed me with chronic persistent asthma, however, none of the asthma medications have worked so far. Singulair was the only medicine that worked for about 2 weeks then it abruptly stopped working after that. I’ve taken albuterol, flovent, and symbicort. None of them have worked for me. I feel so helpless. My symptoms that I experience are:

-Chest area/lungs have a exhausted feeling like their being overworked. Lungs feel very tired

-Lungs feel inflamed

-Light chest tightness feeling

-I have to use a fan sometimes to normalize breathing

-Feels like my body forgot how to properly breathe/exchange air

-I’ll feel like a big wave just ran through my chest/lungs

-Don’t know if it’s muscle in chest or lungs

-Feels like my lungs aren’t getting enough air circulation

-Out of breathe feeling when I try to speak like I’m not producing sufficient gas/air exchange

-Feels like all the air doesn’t go all the way down

-Difficult to lay on back

Should I get a MRI/CT scan?

I may have to find another doctor

does anyone else feel this way?

Thanks guys!!
