Well i thought id do a quick update story for all the newbies and anyone whose after a long read xD
Well I was born on the 7th of Feb 1996 (That makes me 20 years old now) in Sunderland hospital which is also the hospital I go to for my medical stuff.
3rd October 1996; Diognosed with congenital hip dysplasia
1997; 3 surgeries
1998; Removal of metal work operation and another seperate surgery
2001;3 surgeries
2004; surgery
2007;removal of growing plate in right knee
2008;Removal of growing plate in right knee
11th April 2016; Complex thr, hip lowering and muscle lengthening
I also forgot completely that before this surgery i had avascular necrosis, i only remembered when my physio mentioned it when she read my notes, mind you im sick of health care professionals saying 'my, your young for a hip replacement' you work in medcine, you should no life isnt simple xD
so iv got surgery on the 30th of June provided nothing goes wrong, i will be having my right collar bone snapped and pin and plated and a piece of myright hip will be removed and inserted in the collar bone. This means i have to come off my crutches very quickly, im not ready but no choice. My pain levels are still ridicuously high in the operated hip and i think my back has been made worse and obvs still needing double knee replacments in the future because of the OA. Im using no crutches in the house but my gait is horrendous but the more i do it im sure it will improve, one crutch on short journeys and 2 on long journeys like tomorrow when i go to the metro centre for the first time since surgery without my wheelchair. Very nervous and excited.
So 2 days ago I went on a bus ride to a local shop to get food for the lizards, i wason crutches and the bus driver had parked quite far away from the curb so it was a very high step to get onto the bus, he made no attempt to help me or lower the bus. That was the first thing that annoyed me, so i paid and began walking to my seat whenthe driver pulls away before I had gotten to my seat, i flew forward and caught onto one of the poles but twisted my leg and hip which was agony. Anyone else noticed that bus drivers are incredibly ignorant?
I decided to add some photos to this discussion to, i often find when i talk to people on here or form a relationship with them that it bugs me that i dont know what they look like so i assume others are the same, also someone asked me to share photos of my babies so ill do that to haha, and my old xray since i dont have an updated one as doctor never showed me
