Hi all just want to update you all,bit annoyed tbh cos my gynaecology doctor has completely dismissed my fibroid,saying that it can't be causing me the pains in and around my stomach,and my other symptoms,which are bloated stomach,feeling hot,nauseous at times.I went in to the hospital Tuesday this week to have a CT scan on my stomach and pelvis,but they tried 4 times to get the canula to stay in,but without success,they tried both my hands,left wrist and arm,I did tell them that I have deep veins,which are difficult to find and get blood from,frustrated got another appointment on the 26th this month to get a specialist to put the canula in and hopefully get the CT scan finally done,had to stop being intimate with my boyfriend as it hurts,which is just not right
Hi Jenny sorry to hear this my fibroid measured 8cm when I started taking esmya but instead of shrinking my GP agrees with me it has grown ..my stomach is extremely swollen and painful especially at night and I look about 7 months pregnant , so would sy your symptoms are due to your fibroid.
I was told the same thing by my OBGyN. SHe said that most likely my uterine fibroid is not causing my symptoms as its to small. I have random stomach pain. Sometimes even after sex. I feel nauseous at times randomly and do feel bloated at times to. I also look like Im pregnant. I know part of that may be because Im just fat lol. But I do feel that it could be partially because of the fibroid.
