UPDATE 😊

Hi all.....easier for me just at the moment to do a group response rather than individual, meds keeping me a little drowsy if I try and concentrate 😳

well it's 6am and I'm through the first night. The kept me in hospital to get my pain relief under management. I had wonderful nurses on the arvo shift, they got me propped up and wedged so I had no pressure or drag on my shoulder. I slept as well as can be expected in a hospital. The nurses certainly don't have volume control when they are sorting out a problem with a patient 2 rooms away at 3 in the morning, but they are beautiful nurses and distributed my meds throughout the night. If I woke and felt a twinge I would buzz for them and usually my Endone was due. So for anyone that wants to know, I had my Targin about 9pm and 2 Endone 4 hourly after that. Slept quite comfortably in between doses. I've eaten and drank and havnt felt sick in any way. They asked if I would like to go home today and I said yes, they said that was fine, and they would talk to me about my meds before discharge. I just have to go home and rest.....hubby will do everything.

Just want you ALL to know how much I appreciate your support, love and gentle cuddles. I will be honest Yas were all on my mind as I went into theatre and Yas have all been on my mind during the 17 odd hours I've been out. I know the next few days are gone be a bit rough, but I'm on the right side now rather than the wrong side. The Nurse has just given me 2 Endone (quick release) plus 2 Panadol together, learn something new every day. I didn't know you could take them together.

Well it's now 6.15 and I'm ready for my brekky, which probably won't be here till around 7.30 so I might just have a little doze guys 😘❌❌❌

Woo hoo! Well done. The worst is over.xxx

Morning Kerri!!! Glad to hear you have your first night over. Well done girl, that's you on your way to cartwheels! It's 7.30 pm here in the UK and yes, think we are all the same, you've been in our thoughts today also. Technology is a wonderful thing to bring us together, that the pain and swapping drugs advice! You enjoy your breakfast and safe journey home (no place like it), get all the support you need and make sure you DON'T over do things. Hugs and love, Mandy xxx

Hi kerri. Glad you are ok and on way to recovery now. Just where we all want to be eventually. Take care and relax and recover. We are all here. X
