It started March 2019, out of nowhere i started noticing i would go a few days where i felt like i was constipated, had discomfort in my left flank and experienced a lot of indigestion . I ignored it as it would settle itself until a few more weeks would pass and it would come back. It wasnt something i couldnt handle however i started waking myself up during the night feeling like i was chocking. I went to the doctors were they tested my thyroid which came back slightly underactive. We decide not to start thyroxine and was re tested a few weeks later which came back normal. That was ruled out. The pain in my left side has only got worse as the months passed with the pain being more frequent and pretty much always under my left rib. Eating always made it instantly worse but i was told that was impossible. I was told it was IBS which i insisted it wasnt as my bowel movements where very rarely effected and i had 0 bloating the only thing i did notice however was i had blood in my stool. I was then given laproscopic surgery to check for endometreosis which i was 90% sure i did not have as my periods where fine but they insisted and everything came back normal along with a normal ultrasound of my uterus. I was then given a ultrasound of my abdomen which also came back normal. My stool was tested numerous times and everything was always normal except for a FIT test which came back positive for blood i was re tested as they were not satisfied and the second one was normal. At this point the pain is pretty much unbarable and every day. My kidney was then checked for Kidney stones where i had a Xray and Ultrasound which was normal. Nothing ive taken has worked and my side is now burnt off the hot water bottle permanently attached to it. I cant lie in bed flat or on my sides because of the pain, the nausea and indigestion is awful. Some days i physically cant move i dont have the energy. I wake up in pain i go to bed in pain. Ive begged and pleaded as im convinced i have H Pylori but my doctor decided i was just constipated and gave me laxatives regardless of the fact i go twice daily. I had a stool test done for H pylori months ago which was negative however my mam had it and hers was discovered through a endo. Had anyone ever had a false negative Hpylori test ?
