had gallbladder removed last year . suddenly pain upper right after i eat drink always. stomach swelling . no appetite can go all day not eating . had ultrasound and mri they said normal also was put on flagyl. where do i go from here? very uncomfortable gained weight not sure why . dr seems to be putting me off just like they did with gallbladder took 8 months of me telling them something wrong.

Why did they put you on flagyl? It sounds like they make think you have h pylori? H Pylori can cause the symptoms you have. However, the treatment is usually two antibiotics at the same time. Can you ask for a H pylori test?
she skipped the test and just put me on flagyl but there was no change in my symptoms

Sounds like a bad doctor. Flagyl alone won’t kill the bacteria if you have it. You should get the breath test done if you can. I’ve even seen it on sale online.
I user to be prescribed Ensure. Now too Expensive according to N.H.S. Consultant . I have an appointment with a Gastro enterologist in November.
