Just about anything I eat that is not nuts, bread, or fresh fruit/veggies, gives me a splitting headache and a stomach ache just a few hours after eating. If I can't pinpoint the food and continue eating it for a few days, the symptoms worsen into a migraine and diarrhea. This started over 6 months ago. I don't have good doctor access, but when I did see a doctor, he told me it was probably the preservatives and to eat more fresh foods. The problem is, fresh foods are expensive. I live with my parents and they can't afford to buy too many fresh foods. Most of my died is prepackaged, canned, and/or frozen foods. Part of the oddness to it, is that it hurts more is I stay still. If I rock back and forth or move around, the pain lessens by a lot. Does anybody know what this could be or what's causing it?
You could have IBS. Can you add things like porridge which is cheap and look for mis-shape veg and fruit? Try and get a list of things that you can eat. I think there is a way of trying different things day to day so you can work out what upsets you and what doesn't. Look on the internet.
If you don't eat red meats, fish, seafoods, eggs, poultry and dairy products you could well be Vitamin B12 Deficient or even Vitamin D Deficient.
Have you been to a doctor to have blood tests taken?
I have had bloodwork done, but for something unrelated. The tests came back normal, but I don't know if they only tested it for that specific problem. I don't eat any of those things very much, actually, except for poultry. I have not been to a doctor, but I am not in the position to go currently.
I briefly read about IBS, and that sounds for the most part like what I am experiencing. I have not tried porridge, but I will now. Most of our local food markets so not serve misshapen foods, and are all marked by weight and/or quantity rather. I will also try making a list, thank you.
What about local street markets? Also sale items near their sell by dates. Join an allotment group?
We don't have those where I live. I'm going to try eating porridge and see if that sits well with me and making a list. Thank you for your help
