The tip of my penis is red and becomes irritated during the day, particularly after ejaculating then it feels like it's burning, and when it rubs against my underwear. I've had it a while and stopped masturbating in the hope that the redness would disappear but unfortunately no luck.
I don't think it's an STI as I haven't been sexually active in a long time plus my last STI test proved negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea. To me it looks like a possible friction burn/scrape - especially the part that I've circled, but I'm really unsure as the tip looks somewhat blotchy too.
Is anyone else experiencing something similar? or if anyone has any diagnosis/treatment advice I would very much appreciate it - many thanks in advance :)
i had a similar issue and only just went to GP today and got prescribed Miconazole 2% cream (lucky it does not have steroid)
id double check it with GP but this is what i got advised to use

After reading similar discussions in this forum I think that I’ll be given something similar, probably daktarin ointment/daktacort cream

I’m having the same issue for over 5 months. Doctors told me it will go away on it’s own but it’s getting actually very bad. My Meatus is swollen and super red.

Just a short update - my dermatologist prescribed ‘Daktacort 2% / 1% w/w ointment’ to use twice a day. I read that sudocrem is good for overall genital skin care so I have been using that once a day as well. The combination of these products has significantly reduced the redness and irritation and I have only been using them for about 6 days now
I’ve been using Daktacort ointment and sudocrem for 6 days now and together they have reduced the redness on my meatus. Hope it improves for you
ive just finished the 10 days or so and my skin as you can see is dry. which sudocream did you use? please attach it.
