Urgent gynaecology appointment

Hey ladies!

I had a follow up appointment with my doctor yesterday following my first ultrasound in December (almost 5cm fluid filled cyst) with lots of horrible symptoms. 

Ca125 results are normal (19).  She has however referred me to the hospital gynaecology unit as urgent. 

Can anyone please tell me what to expect from this appointment? I’m in uk if that makes any difference.  

She has also said given my symptoms and the pain I’m getting (and horrible prolonged periods and spotting in between) that i will likely have the cyst removed quite soon.

Hey! 

I have a 11cm cyst in my right ovary which is fluid filled plus a solid part which they believe is my ovary. My tumor markers came back within normal range too. 

I saw them again on Tuesday just gone and they want to operate to take the cyst and maybe my ovary but they getting cancer specialist just to double check everything before they operate. 

You will see a specialist maybe surgeon which they may send you for a CT or MRI scan to have a better look at the cyst.
