# Urinary problems and UTI symptoms

Hello there

I’ve spent to past 4 weeks suffering with UTI - type symptoms. Needing to pee every 15 mins, voiding (trouble peeing) and pressure in the lower abdomen. No burning or fever though. I’ve had three rounds of antibiotics (Nitro’f, Trimeth’pm and Fosfomycin) and nothing has worked. Urine tests coming back negative. (Even a Randox PCR test came up negative) Getting really worried. Has anyone had a similar experience. How long did it last? What kicked it? Has anyone been through anything similar? Thanks, I’m getting desperate. X

Hi there. I suffer with UTI. I am allergic to Nitrofurotein and Trimopethin,sadly I can’t remember what they finally gave me sorry.

Don’t give up and drink plenty water.

Go back to the doctors and ask them to refer you to a kidney specialist and go from there. Sorry your going through this. Lesley
