Urine leaks but no feeling of urge or related to stress incontinence

Hi everyone,

So for the past 6 months now I’ve been dealing with a urethra issue.

It feels very sensitive to touch however it isn’t read or inflamed. I’ve had tests for UTI’s and STD’s and all clear. The irritated sensation flares up when I’m stressed however I constantly leak a little bit of urine several times a day. Not a lot (enough to cause a small wet patch but no pads needed and it dries very quickly). I’m struggling to even find similar symptoms online because it isn’t related to stress incontinence and I don’t feel any urge to pee - it just seems to leak out without my control. For example, earlier today I was sat on my bed after a shower and suddenly I felt it leak onto my bed and I hadn’t even moved!

I’ve seen 3 different gynes and they have told me there’s nothing wrong. I’ve even seen a urologist who has examined the urethra and told me that he cannot see an issue. I have also had an ultrasound with a full bladder, followed by an empty bladder, to see if i was retaining any urine after peeing and all the results came back normal…

Can anyone help? Do my symptoms sound similar to maybe something less common which I could look into?

i have the exact same issue minus the tender urethra. but I did have that when I first noticed I was leaking. I started wearing a pad and that totally took care of it. The urine is probably doing all of the irritating even though you say it dries fast. I would try wearing pantiliners and see if that pain goes away. As for the leaking without ever knowing it’s happening, I have had all of the same tests and the doctors can’t explain why it’s happening. I even had a mid urethral sling procedure. That didn’t help at all.

I would recommend doing the kegal exercise. Go to YouTube on how to do it for incontinence. They will help to strengthen your muscles below the urethra. I am no doctor but it’s best to seek advice from a urologist on how to do and how many times a day.

What do you eat and drink. Maybe it the content of certain drinks and foods that are giving your digestive system problems. Sugar content is related to bladder problems. Generally speaking.
