I’m a 40yo male with problems going frequent to urinate only small amounts also getting up during the night to go.
I have had the urolift procedure as well as a vacsectormy done together.
I work up after the procedure in a lot of pain like someone kicked me in the Groin and rectal pain as well.
I was passing blood, it was dripping out before urinating and also clots.
The third day I tried to urinate and a clot blocked me and I couldn’t go, my urologist told me to come straight in. I finally passed the clot with a lot of pain.
Day 7 after the procedure I am still experiencing a dull rectal pain after I uriante that I have to lay down. And then it goes away after 15mins.
I am still unable to have sex because the penis is still too tender.
My urin flow has improved.
Does anyone else experience rectal pain after urinating?
Good afternoon I don't get what your saying. You have both procedure on the same day. When you had the Urolift you did not have a catheter. Forcing to pee but a strain on your butt. Did your doctor give you anything to help you go to the bathroom. If you did have them both together give your self some time to heal. How many clip did they put in. You should have a a catheter it may have help to get rid of the clog. Just drink a lot of water and try to relax. All men heal a different rates. Take it easy Ken
Thanks ken, yes I did have them done on the same day, the catherta was removed when I woke up. I had 4 urolift put in.
I think I’m having muscle spasms in my butt which are quiet painful similar to an anal fissure which I have had an operation for (3years ago).
I never heard of this doing the 2 procedure at the same time. Why did you do that. Did you get 2 one sale. You should have had the catheter in for a few days it would have been better. I guess you are done having kids. Just drink a lot of water to flush yourself out. Having both at the same time Your going to hurt in that area for a little while. My son-in-law add it done and he was in pain for 2 weeks was putting Ice on it. Good luck Ken I had 4 clips put in when I had mine 3 1/2 years ago
