I had a Urolift about 9 months ago, 6 clips. I have been happy with the results until about a month ago when there was blood in my urine. The cystoscope this week revealed that 1 or 2 of the clips closest to the bladder did not hold, which caused the blood and now, reduced urine flow. I am now scheduled to have the failed clips removed in a hospital out patient setting. My question is could/should the urologist replace the failed clips in the same procedure? It's important to note that I prefer the Urolift over other options because of my initial good results and that sexual function was not at risk.
