Poor urine flow so had the Urolift performed 5 days ago. Afte 5days, flow is no better. How long does it take before everything settles down and flow improves? I am told everyone is different but some posts by other men say they experienced greatly improved flow right away. Is there anyone else who waited a few days then experienced better and better urine flow?
Hi, Urolift is poorly efficient in case of big median lobe protruding to bladder ( IPP).
You should see some improvement in the second week. But they say 4. All men are different and heal at different rates. I was good to good a one week was doing ok. Been 3 years for me Ken
Thanks for the replies. I am told some men take four to six weeks to see improvement. I think that is rare. I think most people who post about it see improvements in a week or so. Doc says it is normal to not see it right away. I am jealous of the man who said it was like a fire hydrant on his 2nd day after the procedure.
Thanks to those that posted replies, and if anyone else has experiences they would share, please do. Thx.
Thanks for the reply. Did you find more improvements in the weeks after your one week?
After 3 years, how is it doing? Still happy you had it done?
Good evening I had mine done 3 years ago. I was good in a week but they do say 2 to 4 you should see a good return .Have a great day just to relax Ken
Your prostate was traumatized, as12829, albeit to a minor degree. Five days? Give it five weeks, and I'm quite serious about it.
Did you have it done? Did you see good improvement in flow at 5 weeks?
i see the Doc for follow up this coming Friday. I suppose he will tell me the same thing.
But I will come back and post what he says. We need realistic expectations.
