Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) for gallstones?

Hello to everyone.

I have been diagnosted with gallstones and my doctor has suggested to use ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA 450mg), mainly to dissolve the stones.

Has anyone used it?

Which could be the side effects?

side effects are horrendous runs I beleave.

or at least they can be .

also this will work but from my research, it will only work on a solitary small stone ?

Define small stones.

Mines are around 3mm

3mm is a very small stone and urso will disove them go for it 

mine were 2.3 cm
