Great information thank you for sharing

Great list of sites really handy!

Thank you,

Perfect, thank you. I know it is a question we get asked a lot, both prior to and following pelvic surgery.

I recommend the book "Pelvic Floor Recovery: Physiotherapy for Gynaecological Repair Surgery"  by Sue Croft and I hope you can add it to your list.

It is a whole book about recovering from prolapse surgery.  It wasn't available in the UK on kindle before, but it is now.  It is also available in the US.  I am not sure if you want resources that cost money but I found this incredibly helpful preparing for surgery, especially as my doctor gave me very little information.

No affiliation with the author, I just stumbled across it and it really helped me.

Dorry if you read at the top of the thread you have to send the moderator a private message with any suggestions.

oops.  thanks, matron!

No problem. I need to read the book but I wasn't aware it was available here in the UK so I'll buy it now. Thank you.

Doer dory there are 3 other books available on Kindle written by Sue Croft.

That should say sorry Dorry, silly predictive text!!

I know of two books, both are interesting but I thought the one about recovering from surgery would be most relevant to this forum.

"Pelvic Floor Recovery: Physiotherapy for Gynaecological Repair Surgery"

She wrote that book first and then wrote a second book which is a little different.  She says: " I have written this second book to assist women in learning how to correct any bladder and pelvic floor problems using conservative measures "

Maybe it would be good to have both listed -- one is for more serious prolapes that require surgery and the other can help with milder problems that may be fixable with conservative measures.

They both sound really interesting and would be very useful

I sent Emis Moderator an updated message with both titles listed.  Thanks Matron!

Matron said she would ask you to find some info on rectoenterocele prolapse. I've had a look at the leaflets but couldn't see anything. Have I missed it?

Thanks for your help.

Hi, if you click on the relevant link in the first post at the top of this page you should find what you're looking for. Good luck. rolleyes

Dear moderator can you please see my post below and suggest a resolution? Thanks!!!

Thank you so much for sharing these.

Hello

A long time ago I found a chart that advised what you could do week by week after surgery for prolapse. I do not remember whether it was on this website. Do you have any knowledge of the chart?

Thanks
