Has anyone else been prescribed Amitriptyline to control a neuropathic cough? Ive been taking anywhere from 10-30mg and Ive gained about 20 pounds and just realized this drug might be the problem? anyone else?
no but makes sense. Any antidepressants can cause weight gain or wait loss.
Hi Kim, Iv e been taking 20 mg Amitriptyline at night to help with Insomnia and have had to watch my weight very carefully as Ive acquired a extra tyre around my waist, since taking it, so Id advise extra caution.
anyone know how long it takes to lose the weight AFTER GETTING IFF AMITRIPTYLINE?
