I am 10 months down the track of tests and facing this decision. I do not know anyone who has had Fibroid Embolisation and would be keen to hear any experiences to assist with my decision.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

How big are your fibroids? What are your doctors recommending you do? Do they have you on any medications?

I know how you feel. I'm in a similar situation. Although I am exploring the idea of embolisation treatment- having an MRI next week.... but don't know anyone that's had it done. Even my gynaecologist has had to look at treatment protocol for embolisation, as he isn't fully familiar. That makes me think he doesn't do that many referalls forit......?
Difficult decision eh?
From what I can read on here some people have had it sometimes it works first time, sometimes second time, sometimesnot at all and people still end up with hysterectomies... so I'm not sure.

Hello I have had the embolisation and I do believe it has worked... As I had 2 v.big ones 7-8cm and 3 littles ones and the one of the big one was sat on my bladder which made me what to pee very often! So in terms of symptoms defo. But I am 35 and not had kids so having the alternative would not have been an option for me. But for me I wanted to have the embolisation as it was the least invasive procedure.
