Ok, I do not understand if a stripe is considered normal at 11mm, why would 4.1mm be of any great concern? The discharge I experienced was hardly anything, and nothing since then. And I have not gone 12 months without a period. I’ve had 4 this year and my last one was 7/24/2017. FSH was 53.2, which was in post menopause range...but still haven’t gone a year without a period. I’m so confused with menopause. After transvaginal US (no significant finding, possible Adenmyosis, which is common in women 40-50 and having children and my lining was 4.1mm) my Dr ordered a endometrial biopsy to make sure no pathological process is going on. I thought 4.1mm would not be suspicious of anything.
I thought 4 and under they don't even do a biopsy I know yours was 4.1 BUT seems normal! Mine was 8 something and of course I had to have all the test done and I thank God everything was okay. I never heard 11 mm was normal? I had a period after 2 years without one and they had a flood of a period and it lasted for almost like two months thats when they found my winning thick and had to get all those test done I had two biopsies' and paps and TVUS. You sound be normal on all you are experiencing. But doesn't hurt too get tested out if they think its Adenmyosis sp?
Not sure is adenmyosis has anything to do with the uterine stripe or not. Adenmyosis is common between 40-50 and if you have had a child. This happens in your myometirium (sp). I too thought 4.1mm was normal too, the nurse even said their threshold was 5mm but because I had those two incidences of discharge they want to make sure there is nothing going on.
Hi Dawn. How are you? Did you have the biopsy yet?
