I've had an uti with ecoli now for over 2 months or so been on 5 antibiotics and the last one I took it went away for a few days but now it's coming back again, tenderness and sensation of having to pee constantly , last year I had it also for 3 months, I'm about to crack up, been crying thinking there is something seriously wrong with me, I can't have a normal sex life cause I'm either in to much pain or it causes it to flare up again, I'm only 19 and I'm scared to have sex I work on my feet for long periods of time and I'm crippled , is there something seriously wrong or what is it ? Please help
If you haven't already, you could try asking your doctor to prescribe the antibiotic that worked at a low dose for a longer period. I had a one-a-day dose of Nitrofurantoin 3 years ago for a 3-month period and didn't have a recurrence of uti for two years. I'm now on the same prophylactic dose again after having 2 utis in quick succession and - so far so good, it hasn't come back in the 2 months I've been taking it..

We will have traced if ecoli. I have e battled this for a fee months, constant pressure. I finally went to a uro gynecologist, best thing I did. She have me something called the blue pill, it actually acts like an anti inflammatory, it settled the area down, within days in was back to normal. Good luck
