I think I’ve come down with yet another UTI. I’m feeling discomfort down there and some bladder pressure with no burning. I really want to treat this before it becomes worse but I’m sick of taking antibiotics. Has anyone ever treated theirs without antibiotics? I’m currently taking D-Mannose and took some garlic as well as drinking a lot of water. Planning on taking cranberry supplements when I get home. Anyone have any other suggestions? I’m hearing about Turmeric, has anyone tried that?

What are cystex pills. I have cystitis and get quite a few UTIS which they treat with antibiotics. Then after taking antibiotics I sometimes get a yeast infection. Now taking probiotics and have always taken D Mannose.
Are you in the US? I'm not sure if they have Cystex anywhere else. But basically they take away the pain and they have an antibacterial in them that keeps the infection from spreading. Coupled with dmannose it could knock the infection out. But I think the most important is the dmannose!
I only take 1 d mannose a day. Do you take more than 1a day?
For prevention of utis if you take the pill form of dmannose I'd say take 1 or 2 a day. If you are sexually active take an extra 2 afterwards for prevention. When you have an active uti infection you have to take a few pills wait about 45 minutes and then start to drink lots of water. Make sure to pee a good bit. Of course if it starts to get worse get to the doctor!
Hey guys update! I found a natural homeopathic remedy that I think is working for me and it’s very inexpensive! It’s called Staphysagria. They come in little pellets that dissolve under your tongue. There’s different dilutions, I got the 30C for a total of $7.65 tax included at the Vitamin Shoppe. They’re also available on Amazon for about the same price, maybe cheaper! It’s known to help with UTIs as well as heal any surgical wounds and help with mood. I used this in combination with D-Mannose powder and probiotics + drinking loads of water and it seemed to knock out the infection over the weekend. Now I don’t feel anything!
Common sense will tell you you that homeopathy can never cure anything.
