Hi all has anybody been on vagifem 10mg and have you had any side effects. Started 12 weeks ago and have started to bleed its like my periods have started sore breasts cramp feeling I also have the mirea coil in waiting to go to doctors to see if this is normal

Apparently the combination of hormones is stimulating the uterine lining.  And yes, these hormones can cause some of those typical "fertile" feelings. i.e. sore breasts, cramping sensations.  

At times, a woman will have some bleeding until her body adjusts to the hormones and they are tuned to a good level, without producing periods.

Well after using vagifem for several months i started to get stomch cramp period like pains then losing a little blood. Was sent up for a scan to check my lining of my womb to see if there was any thickening of the lining, came back ok but dr told me to stop using the vagifem.  I never had the  mirea coil  in though as in menapause anyway.  If its normal to experince these things i wonder why my gp told me to stop using the vagifem then. Should i have been adviced to carry on i wonder to see if things settled?

The fact you have the mirea coil  in then presume your not menapausal like i was when using the vagifem. See my reply to gailannie
