im so sorry your young daughter has this. ive had the annoying bubbling feeling for that past year. Both Urologist and Gynocologist found nothing. im thinking it may be some bacteria they arent testing for, or maybe yeast? or maybe even parasitic. i have had lyme disease for over 10 uears (not related to bubble issue, dont think) and the doctor that finally figured it out, ran tests ghat none of the other Doctors did was a Naturopathic doctor. i think i need to get back there and have him run tests. i have not seen one in years and since im not getting answers from other doctors this just may be the key to figuring this out. will update…
POSSIBLE SOLUTION – For almost 2 months, I had this bubble feeling in my vagina but also some tingling in my anus. it got worse at night. i tried taking probiotics, a 3-day Monistat course, Calmoseptine, Pinworm medication, and taking fiber. Nothing worked. I had an STD test and also did the at home test strips to confirm it wasnt BV or a UTI. I finally had an appointment with the doctor this week and she asked to look up my anus. Right away she said i have hemmerhoids, and to use hemmerhoid suppositories (not the cream).
I bought the suppositories (i got the CVS store brand but the name-brand is Preparation H). And have been putting them up my rectum 2 times a day for the last 2 days. The problem is now 90% cured, almost no more bubbles in my vagina and tingling in anus significantly reduced. I assume in a few more days it will completely go away. i think the leakage from the hemmerhoids cause the bubbling in the vagina.
did you ever find out what caused your bubbles?
do you know how you got the fistula?
all the research i’ve been looking at describes this bubbling as either a “frothy” discharge (only associated with trichomonas or “queefing” which is basically like a vaginal fart caused by too much air getting into the vaginal cavity. i would almost rather it be the sti because even thought it meeans my partner is a douchebag, it can be cured with a round of pills. not sure if this helps but its what ive found. i will definitely keep following this thread for more updated info.
hi, did you ever find the cause or cure? my daughter is also 6 and just starting complaining of a bubble feeling. she is especially uncomfortable after peeing and wearing tights or tight fitting clothes. any advice would be greatly appriciated. thank you
No but I wonder if it’s to do with how we are built around that area - but on the outside of us.
Hi! I am having the bubbles too. Horrible! I am taking supplements to balance my ph level. I also am thinking it has to do with stretching out the pelvic floor. I think the pelvic floor is too tight and maybe the problem. Ive done hours of research. Try the happy baby yoga pose and see if that helps some. I wrote a post this am with more info I found , but i guess it has to be approved before its added. prayers to you!
Hope you have found relief for your little one! I have been having this issue recently and have done hours of research. I am starting to believe it is from the pelvic floor being too tight. I have been doing stretches for it and I am getting some relief. I read that holding in when you have to use the bathroom is one way this can happen. I would think this could be the case for children with this issue. Look up pelvic floor stretches and I hope it will help. God bless!
Hi! I have these too and I have been doing hours of research. I am starting to think it is from the pelvic floor being too tight. Try some pelvic Floor stretches. They seem to be helping. One Ive been doing is a yoga pose called the happy baby pose. God Bless! Hope it helps.
Has anyone found a solution or recieved a diagnosis for this? Ive had this wretched bubbling and itching for 10 months now. Tests keep coming back as yeast and bacterial vaginosis. Ive been on ever antibiotic and cream know to man. This is the worst!
I just wanted to say that I had the “bubble” feeling for about a year. No pain, itching, or abnormal discharge. Just this odd feeling. It could usually be relieved by squatting or stretching my legs apart (not in public!). Also dabbing the entrance to my vagina with a bath towel helped.
In my case, I think it was a mechanical problem with a bit of air and maybe normal discharge or even urine getting stuck. Actually, I should have tried to look with a mirror!
I am glad to say that it gradually got better on its own. It only happens occasionally now.
I have not lost weight – actually gained a little – or changed my exercise regime or anything else significant.
years later i know but i googled “why is my vagina bubbling” and to my surprise there were people who would relate!! So mine is happening before my period. like the week and a half before it. no other symptoms really just super annoying!! could mine still be ureaplasma? i have insane issues with hemorrhoids. ibs. endometriosis. and this is tmi but i can almost never get my bhole clean after taking a poo. like i would be wiping for HOURS and its making for a really poor quality of life actually. Thanks for any help. God Bless.
i have found some answers-
this started over 3 years ago out of the blue, and continues daily. always bubbling sensation after peeing and after shower. started noticing mucus and particles with pee. i saw Urologist, had tests, scoped, MRI, everything came back normal. Gynecologist tested for everything, had pelvic ultrasound and tests came back normal.
with close inspection about 6 months ago i noticed small black speck in urine. freaked out. i was tested for parasites, came back normal. found out those tests are HIGHLY inaccurate and most physicians have very limited knowledge of parasites and successfully treating.
i found a specialty lab on-line and sent my samples in. my urine and stool sample came back positive for nematode larval. im working with a Naturopath doctor to treat. the bubbling, mucus continues to thrive. i just started fungal medication to see if that helps. not sure if its parasite or fungal/ yeast but i definitely know im dealing with parasites.
i would have never figured this out if i didn’t do my own research on finding high accuracy labs and finding the right doctor with knowledge of parasites, even my Infectious Disease doctor. who supposedly specializes in these missed it and really did not believe me.
i will continue anti-parasitic medications and anti-fungal. I will update when figure this out. Side note- I don’t know how i got these parasite but i and my doctor suspect it came from produce I ate. ![]()
Hi there,
did you ever find out if your bubbling was caused by parasite or was it fungul?
please update us.
Thank you.
It sounds more like pelvic floor dysfunction/weakness
I have no idea whether it is related or not, but I have been diagnosed with vulval lichen sclerosus. This is something all women should be self-checking for, as we do for breast changes or lumps, but I guess doctors and the government haven’t bothered to tell us.
Please all of you take some time to read up on the symptoms, and do a self-check with a mirror even if you have no symptoms so you know how things look normally and will be able to detect changes and catch this early if it does happen. Early diagnosis and treatment can usually fix symptoms and maintenance treatment will slow or prevent further skin changes for many women.
