so i know this title is weird but pls hear me out. I've been suffering from this for years its uncomfortable for me to even wear underwear at this point because of it so i have to wear shorts or something underneath my clothes instead. Sometimes i have to move around when i sit because it like air bubbles out of you're vagina like an everyday thing. It's so uncomfortable and i need help. I went to the hospital yesterday and the doctor they gave me told me it was normal and it happens. But i refuse to go with that answer i need help. Like asap .
This happens to me too and it drives me nuts and im always moist! no smell though. I stopped wearing underwear as well.
In my opinion it is an infection.
I have had vaginal air uncomfortableness. My GP was dismissive about this as was the Gynaecologist when they should have addressed the problem which was awful. A friend said to me it sounds like an infection. I got antibiotics and it went. I could not go out because of it or socialise as it was awful and embarrassing. Shame on the professional medics who just could not be bothered.
im sorry to hear that and thanks for sharing! they gave me metronidazole yesterday as an antibiotic and honestly i just want this to be over its sad because this has become my normal day of living , living uncomfortably no one should have to go through this i just hope i reach the right care facility that'll actually help me .
thank you for sharing it makes me feel better that i'm not the only one going through similar annoyance on everyday basis its so ridiculous though.
your welcome. your most definetly not. This year makes 2 years and i cant get rid of it. ive tried antibiotics and it makes my situation worse
Under wear is a issue because we supposed to let our vagina breathe if it don't then our vagina begin to moist which can cause it as well but I read heavy on seasalt baths and goggle it and that drys up dead skin and bacteria out our bodies and refresh it I'm going to do that next I did all the antibiotics already
Try doing the seasalt bath for 20 minutes a day for a week and see what happens between that and acv vinegar baths is my last chance
Have you tried BV gel from the pharmacy/chemist which is said to restore pH balance? In the Uk there are 7 x 5ml applicators in a light green box with an inner white section on this box.
They are crap the gels they once worked many years ago but since this bout 4 years ago they don't touch my bv . pessary version is better balance active brand like the gels .
do you mean vag farts lol ? if so I went a few months with the same thing i just went through a stage of only farting through my vag my sister has suffered this also .
Another idea is to shower with a few drops of tea-tree oil.
ive been dealing with this since i was 6 years old imagine
thanks ! I'll really have to give it a try
not really its literally me sitting down on a flat surface or walking or doing anything and its atleast everyday since i was six and it feels like a bubble coming from my vagina its so annoying i swear and really uncomfortable
what would that do? cancel any smell? help my ph?
yes! I was told by one doctor that she thought they were bladder spasms and that I now have Interstitial cystitis?! she would not listen and said to stop eating spicy stuff and to just live with it. however I do not have any bladder pain or urgency. I did test positive for BV and get the air bubbles though, 2 rounds of antibitocs but still get the vaginal burning and air bubbles. I have been to 4 gynecologists and swear I have lost all confidence in doctors now. so frustrated!
wow smh i cant even imagine. its a total nightmare
Hello again,
It sounds like a fistula. This is a tiny hole. The medical professionals could agree to look by you having a "Flexible Sigmoidoscopy". It depends where the hole begins. Then they can fix the hole and you can be as normal. The Flexible sigmoidoscopy is usually done by a bowel specialist under anaesthetic. Sometimes the specialists can not see the hole as it is very tiny but it could be worth thinking of asking to be referred to a bowel specialist. Generally they scan your pelvic area as well, which often comes back negative but do not be disheartened. Modern machinary is not that great.
Have they not given you scans? This is normally the proceedure? Could it be a fistula? There are other specialists. Have a rest from frustrations and tackle this again when you are ready. There are other ways to tackle the Medical profession. If you live in the Uk how about emailing your Local Member of Parliament? Other women have had the same problem and have had success by doing this. I understand how frustrating this is having had a few problems myself.
