hello can anyone pls tell me what this sore could be? at first i thought i had an ingrown hair after getting waxed and i tried to check down there and ended up scratching/cutting myself further so could this be scarring from doing so? it was hurting and itching before i decided to check it out. i had my boyfriend pull out very little ingrown hairs and it hasnt bothered me since pain/itching wise but now the skin is very raised and dark and im scared it wont go away. im also scared it could be herpes just incase
It looks like a herpes ulcer. Have you gone to the doctors? If not, 100% go see one and show this pic if it’s already healed. You mentioned ingrowns, but even innocent little bumps appearing to be ingrowns can be herpes. Maybe don’t wax anymore until you figure it out.

2I think it could also be a staph infection. mrsa/mssa can sometimes have a similar presentation as you have described( in my experience anyway) i would reconsider that you have it swabed.
3possible that it is simply what a vaginal scab looks like ( but I am totally making that up)
