Hi Joanne. Any uncommon intense pain is a good reason to call your doctor ASAP. It may be a UTI which is not uncommon during menopause but nonetheless needs treatment. Take care of yourself. XX
Not had pain but a burning feeling and feeling of full, bladder when it wasn't. Amitriptylene was a Godsend.
No but I do urinate alot thats what bothers me plus the itching. Have your doctor put you on and estrogen cream that you can rub down there
Hi Joanne you probaly have Atrophic Vaginitis which can cause bladder, vaginal a and uethral discomfort, everything drys up and shrinks down there. could be an infection though or a combination of both. I would get it checked out though all the same to get proper diagnoses. Vagifem pesseries helped me but had to stop using them due to bleeding starting up after five years with no periods. We need very understanding hubbys i know that muich.
Thanks Susan
I have estriol cream to try but no help . I've had this on and off for 6 yrs but this bout has lasted 3 months . My bladder has settled in past few days which I am grateful for but urethra pain is awful . My g. P pushing hrt but I'm reluctant 😔
