vaginal bubbling

I have these almost like gas bubbles constantly in my vagina,i have to wiggle around do deep knee bends to get them to come out,its very uncomfortable and annoying i also an urinating more and it has a very strong smell.I have never had children or surgeries and my periods have been irregular for years, this has me in tears,i'm afraid to see a Dr. that they will think i'm making it up.Any suggestions?

Sounds like bv, only reason I know is I too had the bubbles and the strong odour began to research and it was BV the bubbling like comment below said ️can be caused from flora levels ph levels in your vagina which throws it off causing bad bacteria to grow which is the smell, U can either by the canasbalance test or the bacterial vaginoses gel from chemist or go your gp and tell them you hink your suffering bv! It's very common they won't have to examine you they will hit say is oxide strong yes and they will prescribe you with merronidazole , some say this don't work , but I do because it worked for me soons I got bv I took them and it had never returned , helps throwing all your pants knickers away and buying cotton only too x good luck

Hi, you're not alone! I have the bubbling feeling too as well as irregular periods along with some other symptoms. I'm also afraid to tell the doctor about these particular symptoms which truly isn't doing me any good. I have been tested for STI's which are all negative, blood work, hormone levels, internal and external ultrasounds, etc. Everything so far looks fine. Really I've only told my doctor about the irregular bleeding between periods and not the other BV symptoms. I have been suffering from those symptoms for a long time. Years... so you're not alone and I know it is hard. Bubbling can sometimes be a sign of a vaginal fistula but I'm with you in that I've never had any surgeries, children, trauma, etc. I've made a promise to myself that I would go to the doctor and be open and honest with her by the end of September. There are helpful suggestions below but I will also keep you posted with my results...

Reb94020 I almost cry by reading your post it's as if you wrote that for me , I am so similar I have irregular bleeding im bleeding today and I only came of a very heavy period last week that was really heavy with massive blood clots for 5 days , I guess we're all hear for the same thingie kinda neglect our body's when it comes to God whether it's finacially CARNT have time or scared and embarrassed we all turn to hear!

I have been Drs about BV after I self diagnosed from this forum and was given treatment which has cured it,

But I have not been aboyt STI checks which is possible I may have as I have sex, I haven't been about the irregular bleeding I have mentioned it but never took advice and got Pap smear test I have all other symptoms including lumps on vagina by opening which I have diagnosed as bartholin cysts but not 100% as won't go gp I promised my self I would see Dr b4 holiday my holiday was end of July I still ain't been im aiming for end of sep now Infact i have to see nurse wed so I'm gonna lay it all out on the table I feel though when you go with so much they feel your over reacting that's not the case the case is o have left it for way to long ️️an it's building like brings on my shoulders I am thinking I have cancer, I have one child but was by ️x section 2 years ago, I have had no traumer else where these lumps I first noticed around 2011

I have an appt with my GYN next month for my annual physical and i was going to try to explain to her then, but i don't know if i can wait that long,i am practicly in tears, not because of pain it's that feeling of the bubbling when i sit when i stand i feel like i need to try to squeeze them out,i can't go anywhere because i need to wiggle and squirm to try to get relief atleast for a minute.

I know, it is really nice to have support through forums like these and to be able to relate with others. Of course, it's natural to jump to conslusions like cancer. Since you have an appointment Wednesday maybe schedule something after that appointment that you might enjoy. Like a massage? Or getting your nails done? I just find I am able to do something that scares me or makes me anxious more easily as long as I know I have something to look forward to afterwards. I do totally understand how scary these things can be.

I understand how frustrating it is as I'm also experiencing it. I have learned over the years you have to be your own advocate at the doctor and be pushy and assertive. These attributes don't come to me naturally so it's difficult. If a Doctor says I'm fine (even if I don't feel fine) I just tend to not push them any further and accept my symptoms and feeling crappy and frustrated. Doctors don't intentionally brush off our symptoms but they are not experiencing it so as the patient you have to push to get the tests you want. Keep us posted? I will as well.

Have you tried to open your vagina see if its traped air or like what happens if you go for a wee or open your legs to like spread it out x

What a marvellous idea I have been wanting to get a massage and nails done for ages lol hopefully I could do somethink like this after my Pap test because I have two ppl visiting me at home after my drs this week but I will deffinatley treat my self to somethink after my Pap test thanks for your message xx

That's so me aswell reb94020

I ️️am quiet and not pushy and if they say I'm ok I just go oh ok then ️️an if I do repeat my self saying but I do t feel to good once they tell me a 2 nd time I take that ️️an go then say stupid Dr ️️️️haha. ️Xxx I need to be more harder and say no this is how im feeling and i want all test doing bloods, swaps , the lot may I add a while ago I got two bald spots in my head and I got bloods took ️an they done a total of 7 and they was ment to repeat 4 which I never went back for so I think I should tell them that xx

I have, but it;s more constant not here and there, thats why i'm ready to cry.

Yes i def would.

Really? You were losing hair? I was also losing hair at one point - I noticed a bald spot on the back of my head while trying on clothes in a dressing room. I looked in the mirror and paniced! That is when I went to the doctor first and mentioned the irregular bleeding and losing hair. A few months ago is when I had all the blood work and ultrasounds done which all came back fine. I was sure I had poly-cycstic ovaries but I don't... My mom passed away 4 years ago so my Doctor thinks these symptoms could be a result of stress but I truly don't feel that it is...

Yes my hair dresser came done my hair when she left I noticed a bald spot on the top completley circle shaped about the size of a 5p-1p , I asked her if she left the colour on to long or if she recognised it and she said no I kept eye on it went drs who measures it and said to keep eye on as could be alopecia

Then I got another one which I noticed a while later at the side of my head so went back this one went the size of a small tangerine and the one on the top was now the size of a £2 coin they said could be linked with stress at the time I didn't tell them of other symptoms , they ordered blood work some came back irregular and I had to repeat in 6-8 weeks but I later forgot ️️an never had done so I do owe my self that xx strange my hair has also grown back not to what it was but it's working on it xx

Jeeze, sorry to hear that! Mine has also grown back too. Do you mind me asking what came back irregular in your bloodwork? I was tested for all hormones and also iron, thyroid, and those types of things. Were you tested for those as well?

Hi I will see if I have the sheet I got for my repeats and let U iknow the deffinate ones , but from what I can remember it was zinc thyroid, glucose, blood cells full blood count, iron ️️an some more a total of 7 and out of those I was told to repeats 4 but I never did xxx

I have no idea by getting these tested ️What they would indercate tho?!

If I remember correctly, a lot of those tests as you mentioned above, if your levels are low or high, can cause irregular bleeding, hair loss, fatigue, etc.

Oh that's good to know but for what reasons just so you get them normal again or is there then a health issue ike somethink more to the mix ️Thanks haut trying to see what they would be looking at like a thyroid problem x

I'm not 100% sure but I think it can be as simple as adding different foods into your diet as you may not be getting enough nutrients, taking vitamins/supplements, etc. Even if it was a hormone issue there are a ton of options to correct this. Although your levels may have been off I think typically it can be an easy and quick fix!
