vaginal discharge smell

hi! I have a question about women's vaginal dicharge: is it supposed to smell a bit or not, and if so, what is considered as abnormal?

If its smells ( fishy ). Then you have an infection and will need antibiotics, if it's not smelly then It could be Thrush and will need Canesten pessaries 

albeit we all have a certain amount of discharge.
