I was diagnosed with HSV 2 almost a month ago and have never had an issue with vaginal dryness. I've noticed ever since my first outbreak I have dryness. I'm currently taking Valtrex for suppressive therapy, but can't find dryness to be a side effect. I still have mild itching and a couple of healing sores. Is the dryness due to having herpes? Will it always be like this?
I also have HSV2 but never had an issue with dryness, but everyone has different symptoms... Maybe try and talk to your dr
