I could be just that vaginal fissures, considering the fact you haven't had sex in so many years... just get it checked out by your obgyn...

Go see a doctor and get it swabbed asap. That's all you can do, as there isn't anything else to go on and a swab test is always best, but must be done while the lesions are new.
