so yesterday, 12-24-19, I attempted to have sex for the 1st time since 9-1-19 (September 1st File size is too bigis when I had unprotected sex with a guy I was dating then, that afterwards, told me he was positive for herpes 1 & 2). I was dry yesterday, he used a condom, and we stopped quickly. immediately after I felt a tear. Does this look like a tear only or is this herpes??

wait 16 weeks for a igg test but it does look like herpes,
I'm going to try to see my gyno today and if not available then urgent care. will do swab & blood tests.
it doesn't burn when I pee and minimal discomfort (like a regular tear/cut).
will keep everyone posted. 🤞

just left office. she doesn't think it's herpes. she thinks it's a tear but she swab it for herpes testing. the swab didn't really hurt just was uncomfortable.
when I pee and take shower it doesn't hurt.
i dont understand how that could be a tear though....
dont think it looks typical of herpes. !but best to get it checked and see :)
The positioning of it is a really common spot for tearing. I get spots like this all the time in that exact spot. I tear frequently, as my birthcontrol causes me to be kind of dry down there. Also, if he penetrated you from behind you are more likely to tear in this spot as well... However, I also have hsv1. I got it presumably from having someone go down on me while I had a little but of a tear. He didnt have a cold sore but because I had open/raw skin I think it gained entry to my body easier.. So be careful during this time.... Ive had 2 actual outbreaks that i know of, and both times I had a spot in this location as well but also in a few other areas around my hymen. My outbreaks looked exactly like the tears and like this image, but felt different... The main way I can tell the difference for me is that tears itch more in the specific location and kind of feel more "pinchy" when i move a certian way, it lasts for about a day or two, then i begin feeling better... Your vagina heals very fast from damage. in comparison, my outbreaks felts like a more constant irritation feeling that was coming from a generalized area and not as specific spot. Kind of like an ache that felt tingly and raw a bit. It also lasted longer, like 4-5ish days before improving. They also stung worse when pee came into contact... So to sum up, it is hard to tell what this is from, there are a lot of things to weigh out and it can be different for everyone.. Because your man is positive, if you care to know for certian, you should get it swabbed though! I hope this information helps in some way

It doesn't burn when I pee so that helps. Will definitely let everyone know my results once I get it back in about a week. 🙏🤞

today is day 3, 12-27-19. my vagina feels better. peeing with no burn. I can see the tear clearly now. 
I'm documenting and sharing pics just in case someone else is going through the same thing like me. I do think it was just a tear.
Looks like results are in and it's negative for herpes via swab test on open tear.
