hi i had an eco done 2 weeks ago as i was having fast heart rate fluttering and some dull pain i got a call from doc to say heart beat was ok but i have to make an appointmemt to disguss something to do with one of my valves does anyone know what it could be i am 49y and not unhealthy or over weight
Could be a number of things. Its difficult to say.
Did they say which valve it was?
I'm so sorry for that news! BUT U NEVER KNOW IT COULD TURNS UP SIDE DOWN TO BETTER NEWS! I will b praying for you! U have a great forum w following men n women who have the problems as u on here! God bless you!
Just said they want to disguss a valve problem wouldnt say no more till i c him face to face just wondering the worse case to the easy case
Could be a leaky valve, I had it and have had it repaired and feeling fine - yours may be a small leak and they may not need to repair it, try not to worry - if it was urgent I'm sure they would have had you straight back, not just tell you to make an appointment that you'll have to wait for. All the best, let us know how you get on.
Come back and tell us the result of your consultation. It could be many things and many go through life with defective valves that don't cause any problem.
I was speaking to a woman in her 40's who had been a profesional dancer who had been born with a faulty valve that had not affected her career. It was only found when she went to the doctor with a chest infection and he spotted if when he listened to her chest.
I had my aortic valve replaced four years ago and have a murmur and reguritation on my mitral valve that I'm told should never need surgery.
What causes Valves to go bad? N what if they can't fix it?
thanx everyone got doc at 5.10 tonight so will find out whats up
