I have varicose ezcema on the bottom of my legs which is a like a rash which does not hurt but looks unsightly. Does anybody know how to make the redness not so prominent please as it is summer soon and I cannot wear tights or long socks if it is hot
I would also like help with this. Although have had treatment for veins in November and was told to wear support stockings permanently, which wasn't happy about at all?
This is a rather simple suggestion, but it might be helpful - try rubbing coconut oil on your legs. I have a friend whose doctor prescribed it for her one month old baby's eczyma, and it cleared him right up. I also have an unfortunate habit of getting rashes/superficial wounds that run into non-healing rashes on my ankes, which just refuse to go away (once for 3+ years). The last one I got I started using coconut oil on about a week ago (when it refused to leave for two weeks with lots of redness). It is almost invisible now plus I smell good (if you don't hate coconut)!
I, too, have been diagnosed with varicose eczema, caused by some blood pressure medication I was on for a couple of months. Unfortunately, I doubt there is anything to help because it isn't just surface eczema - it is inflammation within the blood vessels. Would be great if there was an antedote though.
I'll give it a go but I have bio oil by my bed and each night forget to put it on!! And as MrsO says its under the surface vein problem too, I feel coconut oil can't fix that. Thank you.
Hi can you tell me any brands of coconut oil please. I live in the UK. I want to use a good oil please
