Venalfaxine withdrawal

Hello

I have been coming off venalfaxine for the last five weeks and recently came across a United States venalfaxine forum. I have been reading that the hay fever drug Benadryl stops the withdrawal symptoms, I didn't believe this so asi have had a hard time with withdrawing I thought iv got nothing to lose by trying this, so two days ago I bought some Benadryl and stopped taking my venalfaxine. It has worked no symptoms at all so far all the brain zaps have stopped not dizzy anymore, still very tired but I can cope with that. I have been to work today after a long time off and I was fine. So if your having a bad time withdrawing its worth a try as Benadryl is not addictive and no side effects apart from maybe a bit drowsy

This is interesting. I've heard that benadryl helps withdrawal. Did u get the US one? The UK one has a different ingredient. Nytol is the same as the US benadryl. It's great that you're feeling better.

I think I read somewhere that someone used the uk benadryl and it helped.

Yes it was uk Benadryl . Not sure if US is avialible here

a prescription for prozac for a week or so also helps withdrawl, did the trick for me
