Venlafaxine 75mg - withdrawl symptoms?

I've been on Venlaxine for the last few months now.  I've just moved to a new cityand I can't find my prescription anywhere, and trying to find a new doctor is rather difficult with a limited income.  Can anyone tell me what adverse effects I will suffer without these?  It's been 2 days since my last pill and I've started throwing up this morning.  Is this from not being on them?

i would advice, to get to a n e as soon as you can, even if you have to phone 999 now, and explain what you have posted,

i been seeing my doctor over depression for a few years, a few months ago, i was at bottom, and wanted to jump the bridge, however i dailed 999, an was immediatly taken to hospitol,

unfortunatly the depression still continues, although it did help for me much, at the time,

Hi Veadora

In my experience venlafaxine withdrawal is brutal; I would get a new prescription ASAP. It's very important to come off it slowly. I've had nausea, headaches, what feels like electric shocks in my brain, blurred vision and strong suicidal impulses from venlafaxine withdrawal. Obvs everyone is different or there wouldn't be such a variety of anti-depressants or responses to them, but I would urge you to be very careful with this medication. It's great stuff but strong and not to be trifled with. I don't want to frighten you but please get some more.

Thank you Claudia.  I am trying to keep an open mind and remember that not all the horror stories you hear happen to everyone smile  hopefully I'll track down it or a cheap doctor after the weekend
