Venlafaxine and hair loss

Hi, I've been taking Venlafaxine Extended Release (75 mg) for about 2,5 months now and have really noticed that my hair keeps falling off. 

I know it's one of the so many side effects of this medication and not much can be done but just wondering if anyone have found a way of minimising the hair loss? Some suggestions would be appreciated!

I've been on this medication for 10 years at 225 mgs and then recently 300 and this has never happ-ened to me.  There may be another cause for your hair loss unrelated.

Hi was on venlafaxtine for 20 years I've never experienced any hair loss. Spk to ur doctor tho tho.

Yeah, antidepressants can do that, I was the same, but have loads of hair. I only noticed it in the shower.
