venlafaxine and rexulti

hello, a friend suffers from extreme anxiety, resulting in severe stomach cramps, and lost lots of weight. lexapro worked very well for 10 years, then didnt. been on ven at 150mg and rexulti 1.00mg for 5 months now. for 2 months, she was considerably better, almost recovered, but not quite. over last 6 weeks, has very slowly gone backwards. been recommended dose increases to 187.5mg of ven and 1.5mg of rexulti. does anyone know which of these 2 drugs is doing the donkey work, and which one is assisting. the way her pysc did her changes, we dont know which one is the giving the main benefit. trying to find out, for long term use. lexapro used to work well, for 10 years, but her medical doctor ruined it, by doubling the dose, when she needed an increase, wasnt able to stabalise again. so looking for peoples experiences of taking these two, and if future increases are required, which of the two or both should be increased? thanks.

ive been on venlafaxine for over 10 years. 150 mgs and buspar 10 mgs. venlafaxine does all the leg work for sure. ive had a lot of success on this drug. buspar is just there as an aid. A lot people knock venlfaxine down for his side effects, but honestly i havent exeprienced any. Now when i miss a dose, i can feel it. but i just take my pill right away and im fine

hello, thanks for that. im on ven as well, its the best one ive been on. doesnt suit everyone, but if it does, really works well. all the best.
