Been on 37.5 mg for two weeks and going up to 75mg tomorrow, seriously hoping to feel a bit of an improvement over next couple of weeks. Then 150mg after that. No side effects yet, don't know whether that's a good thing or not, been on it before was on it back when it was a new drug 20 odd years ago and been not on and off since. Had a spell on Clamipramine which worked then Brintellix which didn't, psychiatrist tried quetiapine but hadn't done much so last two weeks back on the old faithful praying it works again!
If your a believer please pray for me.

Hi Neil you know it is going to work so that's a bonus. You know the drill you are just going on the therapeutic dose now so fingers crossed you will see an improvement sooner rather than later.
Thanks for the reply Marleen, three years ago I had a relapse and ended up on the max dose of venlafaxine with little improvement which is why I was switched to Clamipramine, after a couple of years I started to feel mildly depressed so they switched to Brintallix which didn't work and not right for anxiety according to my new psychiatrist so he decided to put me back on Venlafaxine, he said AD' s just don't stop working it's the circumstances, so fingers crossed.
Hope all goes well for you Neil.Just see how it goes.Sadly all psychiatrists differ in their opinions l don't trust any off them.It is a case of trial and error so just wait and see.
Hope this works for you Neil.
Just had my Quetiapine increased at night.
Wishing you all the best
Thanks Karen, I take quetiapine also 100mg twice a day, not sure it's done anything but I wonder what I'd be like if I wasn't taking it.
Neil
I started on 25mg twice a day last Friday, was increased to 50mg twice a day on Monday and today increased to 75mg at night and 50mg in day, did say about doing two 75mgs but I said I'd rather try it this way first!
Have horrendous anxiety/panic in the early hours and on waking
