Does anyone else wake up with an awful headache when taking Venlafaxine? Paracetamol doesn’t usually help but the headache does dissipate slowly as the day goes on. There’s no rhyme nor reason as to when I have them. I have kept diaries but there is nothing linking them. I’ve had a brain scan to check for a tumour and had my sinuses checked out. All clear. Now I am wondering about my antidepressant drugs. Anyone else had the same thing? I’m on 225mg dosage.
i would say get off drug and try counselling
hello, its probably a tension headache, caused by increased anxiety. most people on anti depressants feel worse in the morning, and then symptoms wear off during the day. do you have any other issues or symptoms from taking ven? also, do you take immediate of extended ven, and when do you take your dose?
