4th week without Venlafaxine. I was taking this drug for 20 years…and was eventually taking 300 mg per day.
I was and are still under professional supervision, and slowly tapered down with the added support of Lamotragine 150 mg per day, which is a mood enhancer.
However, I was prescribed Vortioxetine during the last two wks to help the side effects of total Venlafaxine Withdrawl.
Vortioxetine gave me horrendous problems, taken off that last wk .
Now, no VeVenlafaxine, no Vortioxetine just on Lamotragine.
I am going through hell, the Withdrawl symtoms from Venlafaxine are so, so bad. I can’t cope. All the Withdrawl symtoms stated (both mentally and physically) I am going through. Was given a prescription for 20 mg Prozac yesterday, took one tab.
Is there anybody out there who can give me any positive news/feedback?? How long will I feel like this? When will I start to feel any better? Why are my symtoms getting worse and intolerable?
Please help anybody…?
