About 7 months ago I just randomly had a panic attack and then my anxiety was just crazy was having panic attacks everyday, taking my heart rate 100 times a day googling symptoms so I went to the doctors and he gave me these medication I've been taking for 6 months and they've ruined my life I can't leave the house I can't hand out with friends if I walk anywhere feel like I'm going to pass out I get hot sweats and only feel better when I get home and feel safe it has stopped my panic attacks but I'm suffering terrible anxiety has anybody else taken these meds and it's gotten worse ? I'm about to become a father and don't want my crippling anxiety ruining it for is propranolol safe to take every single day

I wouldn't like to comment on whether it's safe to take Propranolol daily as everyone is different. Also I don't know enough about your other medication .
I would suggest ringing your GP on Monday and discussing this with them.
I can completely understand why you want things under control with a little one due.
I think it's best to speak to a medical professional.
I'm currently on Venlafaxine which Venlalix is a trade name for it, I was on it a good while ago and was ok on it, I've not had any start up symptoms and am currently on 75mg going up to 150mg on Friday.
Speak to your GP about what's going on, you should be referred to a psychiatrist. Neil

I dont know much about medication but propranalol is a beta blocker so it lowers your heart rate and regulates. Its not an antidepressant and wont stop the anxiety feelings. I would go back to GP and ask for Fluoxetine or Citalopram. I have been on Citalopram in the past and after the initia few weeks of side affects I felt like a new person with no anxiety or panic attacks at all and could lead a normal life. Good luck x
